Coffee lovers, here’s a new favorite chill out spot for you to try!

Kenangan Coffee just had its newly opened branch at SM Sta Mesa this April 2026. Its name originated from Indonesia (Kopi Kenangan) which is located in Jakarta Indonesia (founded by Edward Tirtanata and James Prananto).

The word “Kenangan” means “memories” , hence having the tagline or motto : “Let’s make good memories together” .

Brief Background of Kenangan Coffee/Kopi Kenangan

The coffee shop was founded in the year 2017 and known for popularizing the business of sugar palm milk coffee in Indonesia. Kenangan serves other areas outside of Indonesia such as: Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, India, Australia and Taiwan.

In the year 2024, Kenangan Coffee now serves 900 outlets in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan and Philippines.

What I Tried

I ordered their signature drink which is the Kenangan Latte. This drink has a cozy blend of signature espresso, traditional Indonesian palm sugar and a smooth blend of cream and dairy milk. The taste? Caramel like sweetness and has Velvety finish.

I wish it did have an available straw for take out….
