Day In My Life As A Cosplayer + Celebrating A Friend’s Special Day

Just last Saturday, I and my friends went off to SMX Convention for the cosplay mania then took a stroll or walk as well as a coffee break at Uniqlo Coffee. It was like hitting two birds with one stone – getting to dress up as my favorite HP character and celebrating one of my friends’ special day which is her birthday during that said date.

For my outfit, I had this Slytherin T-shirt I bought from Uniqlo (same branch from where we had our bonding date), denim jeans, a locket I bought from an online shop as well as the Slytherin robe + scarf (both given by my best buddy as her late birthday gift). The traffic flow from my house heading off to the venue was heavy hence we arrived quite late and the place was already jam packed with guests and cosplayers alike.

We took a break after a bit of a stroll inside the exhibit hall at the SMX Convention Center – to quench our thirst and satisfy our hungry stomach’s craving for Uniqlo coffee’s best seller beverage and mouth watering pastries. Yes, I also bought one or two merch items from that exhibit plus I got to have a photo taken with another cosplayer. (see photo down below).

After the last few minutes of exploring the exhibit or cosplay show, I and my friends decided to grab a bite and have dinner at Starbucks (Conrad) before heading back home.

To sum it up, we had the best time of our lives dressing up as an anime and/or movie character and at the same time celebrating a special day of my best buddy – Grace.
