Hell University’s Black Blood Gang & Death Eaters: Similarities & Difference

Ever wondered how the Black Blood Gang from the popular Wattpad series “Hell University” is similar to the Death Eaters from the Harry Potter movies? If ever you have watched both the series and the Harry Potter movie and observed, there are a few similarities with these two villainous groups

What/Who are the Black Blood Gang

The Black Blood Gang (or rather known as BBG) is one of the top dangerous gangs that control Hell University, led by Nazzer Lumia and Nicky Colt . They are seen as “The Dreaded” in the school’s dark environment. Most students fear them.

Basically, the Black Blood Gang is a central, feared student organization within a lawless, secluded school.

The Death Eaters, on the other hand, are more on the magical/wizarding world. This villainous group are considered the Dark Lord’s “elite force” . Like the Black Blood Gang, the Death Eaters are also feared – by all. They commit murders and torture anyone who goes against them.

The Death Eaters are fiercely loyal to Voldemort (aka “You-Know-Who” / “He Who Must Not Be Named”) and has a dedicated inner circle, amongst them are Bellatrix Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy.

Similarities:

• BBG and Death Eaters are both elitists and feared reputation

• Specialized violence and symbols (Black Blood Gang – black masks and specific gruesome signature where they drill metal nails into the tongues of their victim; Death Eaters- “Dark Mark” on left arm; they conjure the Dark Mark into the sky after committing murder)
  

• Dedicated leaders and internal structure – Black Blood Gang are led by Nazzer Lumia (formerly co-led by Nicky Colt; Matthew Heart is newly appointed co-leader). If the movie Harry Potter has “Golden Trio, Hell University has “Terrible Trio” – Nazzer, Nicky and Luke) whereas the Death Eaters are led by Voldemort himself.
  

• Setting: School Control – Black Blood Gang operates within Hell University which is a secret school where violence is being normalized and murder is permitted during “Bloody Night” while the Death Eaters mostly terrorize the wizarding world and take over Hogwarts by means of fear and corporal punishment to control the students.
  

• Hidden Identities – The Black Blood Gang members are part of the school’s dangerous secretive environment; they terrorize the students residing within Hell University. The Death Eaters , on the other hand, operate in the shadows with members infiltrating the society and hiding allegiances until the Dark Lord returns. Difference:
  

  While these groups are considered to be antagonists, the Black Blood Gang are more grounded in realistic gang violence and personal romance whereas the Death Eaters focus more on magical supremacy, political power and dark magic. The Context
  

  The term “Death Eaters” in the Harry Potter movie would likely be a reference to “Bloody Night” or general atmosphere of death, rather than more on the villains where students are subjected to bloody punishment if they defy school rules.
