Imagine yourself being a Hogwarts student and getting sorted into one of the Hogwarts Houses – Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw and taking classes such as Potions, Defense Against The Dark Arts, Charms, Herbology, History of Magic and such.

What Hogwarts Mystery Is About

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is a mobile role-playing game that’s inspired by the Wizarding World and developed by Jam City under Portkey Games. This game has been released on the 25th of April 2018.

How The Game Is Being Played

In this game, the player (which is you), creates their own character and takes on the role of a Hogwarts student and experiences seven years in Hogwarts from year 1984 to 1991. Each year is divided into many chapters – Year 1 (10 chapters) , Years 2 and 3 (11 chapters), Year 4 (17 chapters), Year 5 (34 chapters), Year 6 (46 chapters) and Year 7 (60 chapters).

In each year, the player encounters more challenges or battles, participates in more classes, meets new friends and a lot more (not to mention – explore wizarding careers and be chosen as Head Boy/Head Girl).

Verdict on the Game:

The only cons I encountered while playing this game is that it eats up most of my phone’s storage and for the game per se, I had to wait for my energy to be refilled before doing the said tasks I am to accomplish.

But nevertheless, this mobile role playing game is fun.
