Why I Prefer City Life Over Provincial Life
First things first, being someone who grew up as a city girl, I find this kind of life more convenient than being in a rural or provincial place . Why? Considering a few factors like Internet connection, the friends you’ve already made in this place, and getting already accustomed to the kind of life.
One reason why I hated or I am always opposed to the idea of moving out to another place (not to mention if it means living in a province) is the quality and nature of the Internet signal there – what if it’s not as strong and stable as the one I have here in the city life? Second, the place I might move to is always being flooded or centerpoint of earthquakes and other natural disaster or calamities. Thirdly, means of transportation – especially if there are events Ill need to attend. Moreover, activity and enjoyment in the provincial life gets mundane and boring – less job opportunities, less activities and major events as well as limited shopping and dining options. Last but not the least? Less transport facilities. Who wants something that is so limited?
To me, I still prefer city life over rural and provincial life. This is where I’ve already grown and lived up to adulthood – why bother moving to another place? The idea that Id have to adjust from one place to another would just add up to my stress (which I am avoiding).
